Features
-
Controls up to three doors.

Panic control –
Once control is established and for 30 seconds
thereafter, any button will control door.

Two Permanent Personal Identification Numbers
(PIN).

Temporary PIN for special purpose access.

Any PIN can be up to 8 digits long.

Lighted Keypad for ease of use at night.

Indicator Light gives visual confirmation of
key presses.

Moving Door can cause serious injury or death.

DO NOT install
transmitter unless the door operator’s safety reverse works as required
by the door operator’s manual.
·
Wall control
must be mounted in sight of door, at least 5 feet above floor and clear of
moving door parts.
·
Keep people
clear of opening
while door is moving.
·
DO NOT
allow children to
play with the transmitter or door operator.
If
safety reverse does not work properly:
·
Close door
then disconnect operator
using the manual release handle.
·
DO NOT
use transmitter
or door operator.
·
Refer to Door
and Door Operators Owner’s Manuals before attempting any repairs.

1. INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE:
For convenience in programming you may wish to install Wireless Keypad after
Basic Programming of Wireless Keypad and Garage Door Operator(s) is completed.
·
Mount
wireless keypad on a flat vertical surface with enough room above to slide cover
up. pick location out of
path of moving garage door and supporting hardware.
·
Slide Keypad Cover up and pull off
wireless keypad. Slide off battery cover and remove battery.
·
Mark two holes by tapping a small
nail through screw holes on keypad. Drill 1/16’ pilot holes then fasten with #6
screws enclosed. Replace Keypad cover.
·
Replace battery and slide battery
cover back into place.
2. BASIC PROGRAMMING
How to enter Personal
Identification Number (PIN 1).
How to reset the Wireless
Keypad memory.
A. PROGRAMMING THE WIRELESS KEYPAD
Entering PIN 1
ACTION
KEYPAD INDICATOR
Open cover fully
Blinks once and goes out
Press 3-5-7
Press “PROG”
Blinks once each second
Enter PIN 1 (up to 8 digits)
Press “PROG”
Double blinks each second
Close cover fully
NOTE: Your
wireless Keypad is now ready to signal your Door Operator. Your Door
Operator must be programmed to accept the signal from your Wireless Keypad.
Resetting the
Wireless
Keypad-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
·
Open cover half way.
·
Press and hold “PROG” and “8”
while fully opening cover
·
INDICATOR will blink once and go
out.
·
Close cover fully.
NOTE:
Wireless Keypad memory is now set the same as
when it left the factory.
Return
to Entering PIN 1.
B. PROGRAMMING 1 DOOR OPERATOR
How to program your Door Operator to receive the signal from your Wireless
Keypad.
************* WARNING *************
During this
programming the Door Operator could begin to run. Be sure to stay away from the
moving door and it’s parts. To prevent the door from moving, close door then
disconnect it from the Door Operator by pulling the Red Emergency Release
Handle.
Find the Learn Code Button
and Radio Signal Indicator located on the Door Operator power head. Open
Wireless Keypad Cover fully. This can be found where you
see the antenna wire hanging from the motor head (you may have to take the lens
cover off). If antenna wire is not hanging from motor head then you have an
external receiver which is a black box approx. 6" x 2" mounted somewhere in the
garage with a antenna wire hanging from it (pop off cover to find Learn Code
Button).
ACTION

Press Operator Learn Code
Button Blinks
Enter PIN 1
Press “SEND” Stays on
Press “SEND” Goes out
Press “SEND” to Test System Motor Runs.
Press “SEND” to Test System Motor Stops.
Use the Emergency Release
to reconnect the Door to the Door Operator. Your system is now ready to use.
C. CONTROLLING 1 DOOR OPERATOR
ACTION
KEYPAD INDICATOR
Open
Cover
Wait for Keypad indicator to go out before
Pressing any buttons.
Enter PIN1
Indicator blinks with each key press.
Press and hold "SEND"
Door moves if only 1 door.
Close cover fully
NOTE:
- if indicator is solid, PIN 1 was entered correctly.

if indicator blinks, PIN1 was entered incorrectly. Close cover and start

Any Keypad button will control the door within 30 second after door begins to

A. ADDING MORE DOORS TO THE WIRELESS KEYPAD

Enter total number of doors (2or3)

Close cover fully.
NOTE: Your
Wireless Keypad is now ready to signal your door operators. Each Door Operator
must be programmed to accept the signal from your Wireless Keypad. Decide which
Door Operator will be Door 1, Door 2 and Door 3.
B. PROGRAMMING MULTIPLE DOOR OPERATORS
Find the Learn Code Button
and Radio Signal Indicator located on the Door Operator power

Close Wireless Keypad cover fully
Use the Emergency Release
to reconnect the Door to the Door Operator. Your system is now ready to use. If
you are programming another Door Operator go to that machine and repeat the
above steps.

Cancelling the Temporary
PIN____________________________________________________________
The
Temporary PIN will remain active until the next time PIN 1 is entered. Entering
PIN 1 cancels the Temporary PIN.
