GENIE AT-95 Remote

·         Wall control must be mounted in sight of door, at least 5 feet above floor and clear of moving door parts.

If safety reverse does not work properly:

·         Close door then disconnect operator using the manual release handle.

·         DO NOT use transmitter or door operator.

·         Refer to Door and Door Operators Owner’s Manuals before attempting any repairs.

·         Power cord must be unplugged before attaching any wires,

·         Be sure wire ends do not touch each other or other terminals.

NOTE: This replacement remote controller will work with both our 9 switch and 12 switch security code systems, provided the 3 digit frequency number matches the existing unit. If these numbers do not match, the new remote controller will not open the door.

       INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR NEW REMOTE CONTROLLER

All remote controller and garage door opener security code switches must match to remotely control your garage door opener.

SETTING THE SECURITY CODE ON YOUR NEW REMOTE CONTROLLER

The Genie Model at-95 Remote Controller will selectively activate three different Genie devices.  This controller will operate up to three Genie garage doors or two Genie door plus a Genie gate opener, for instance.

NOTE:  All devices to be controlled must use the 390 frequency and all must use code switches but not punch-out keys.

·         Remove screw from the back to open the Controller.  The TYPE switch is the small code block with only three switches.  The CODE switches are located in the larger code block numbered 1 thru 10.

• As received, all CODE switches will be in up position.  Using the tip of a ballpoint pen, set switches randomly to the down position. (slide the switch actuator tab completely from one end of the slot to the other to change setting).

NOTE:  ONCE YOU HAVE MADE THIS SELECTION DO NOT CHANGE IT LATER ON WHEN ADDING A SECOND OR THIRD GENIE DEVICE TO BE CONTROLLED.

Your code block with dip switches can be found where you see the antenna wire hanging from the motor head (you may have to take the lens cover off). If antenna wire is not hanging from motor head then you have an external receiver which is a black box approx. 6" x 2" mounted somewhere in the garage with a antenna wire hanging from it (pop off cover to find code block with dip switches).

• Look at the CODE switch in the device you wish to control. 
• 9 CODE switch devices.  Set the device CODE switches numbered 1 thru 7 to match the settings of the switches numbered 1 thru 7 at the top of the CODE switch block of the Remote Controller. (ignore the other row numbers 1 thru 10 at the bottom of the remote controller CODE switch block.
• Decide which remote controller pushbutton you want to use fro this device and then set the device CODE switches 8 and 9 and Remote Controller TYPE switch from the chart below:

• Look at the CODE switch in the device you wish to control. 
• 12 CODE switch devices.  Set the device CODE switches numbered 1 thru 10 to match the settings of the switches numbered 1 thru 10 at the bottom of the CODE switch block of the Remote Controller. (Ignore the other row numbers 1 thru 7 at the top of the remote controller CODE switch block).
• Decide which remote controller pushbutton you want to use fro this device and then set the device CODE switches 11 and 12 and Remote Controller TYPE switch from the chart below:
