If these numbers do not match, the new remote controller will not open the door. INSTRUCTIONS FOR YOUR NEW REMOTE CONTROLLERAll remote controller and garage door opener security code switches must match to remotely control your garage door opener. SETTING THE SECURITY CODE ON YOUR NEW REMOTE CONTROLLER The Genie Model at-95 Remote Controller will selectively activate three different Genie devices. This controller will operate up to three Genie garage doors or two Genie door plus a Genie gate opener, for instance. NOTE: All devices to be controlled must use the 390 frequency and all must use code switches but not punch-out keys. · Remove screw from the back to open the Controller. The TYPE switch is the small code block with only three switches. The CODE switches are located in the larger code block numbered 1 thru 10.
NOTE: ONCE YOU HAVE MADE THIS SELECTION DO NOT CHANGE IT LATER ON WHEN ADDING A SECOND OR THIRD GENIE DEVICE TO BE CONTROLLED. Your code block with dip switches can be found where you see the antenna wire hanging from the motor head (you may have to take the lens cover off). If antenna wire is not hanging from motor head then you have an external receiver which is a black box approx. 6" x 2" mounted somewhere in the garage with a antenna wire hanging from it (pop off cover to find code block with dip switches).
