Genie Garage Door Remote Control G3T-BX Intellicode®2 Programming 3 Button

This remote is preset for use with the Intellicode®2 Access Security System.  The remote can be configured for use with the Intellicode®1 Access Security System.  See programming to Intellicode®1 Genie® garage door openers for instructions on switching form Intellicode®2 to Intellicode®1.

Moving Door can cause serious injury or death. 

DO NOT install transmitter unless the door operator’s safety reverse works as required by the door operator’s manual.

Wall control must be mounted in sight of door, at least 5 feet above floor and clear of moving door parts.

Keep people clear of opening while door is moving.

DO NOT allow children to play with the transmitter or door operator.

If safety reverse does not work properly:

Close door then disconnect operator using the manual release handle.

DO NOT use transmitter or door operator.

Refer to Door and Door Operators Owner’s Manuals before attempting any repairs.

Program Remote Controls:

Programming is complete.  This remote button can now be used to operate the door opener.  Repeat as necessary for other remotes or buttons on the same remote.

Lost or Stolen Remote - Clearing the memory:

Now you are ready to reprogram the remote controls.

To replace battery open the remote case using a coin that fits into the slot at the top of the remote.  Replace battery CR2032 and snap case back together.
