INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADDITIONAL
TRANSMITTERS
Your
garage door opener, transmitter, and this new transmitter must all be set to the
same code to work.
NOTE: If your
opener has 9 code switches instead of 12 as shown this replacement transmitter
will not work with your system.
Your code block with dip
switches can be found where you
see the antenna wire hanging from the motor head (you may have to take the lens
cover off). If antenna wire is not hanging from motor head then you have an
external receiver which is a black box approx. 6" x 2" mounted somewhere in the
garage with a antenna wire hanging from it (pop off cover to find code block
with dip switches).
FREQUENCY NUMBER
The
frequency number is on a label on the back of your transmitter. This 3 digit
number is also found on your opener power unit or separate receiver. If these
numbers do not match, the new transmitter will not open the door.
